Retatrutide is a triple hormone receptor agonist. It targets the same receptors as the GLP-1 drugs (ozempic for example) but also targets the glucagon receptor. The glucagon receptor in particular is a game changer. It increases energy expenditure and reduces food intake. It is currently in phase 3 trials but will be the next big one.

In the trials they test some crazy high doses like 3-12 mg I believe. Most people only need 1 mg/week, taken weekly. This helps cut back on side effects significantly. Works especially well if you're working out.

Most people find good results starting low at 0.5mg weekly and then working up to 1.0 or occasionally a bit higher. This make it a steal with Elite Research because you basically get 2.5 months of these drugs for the price of 1 week on ozempic or other GLPs.

sick... for the fat loss usecase what sort of people do you think it's for vs not?

More for obese/overweight or more for performance?

My boat is the last mile, or 10-15lbs of gut fat or so before I'm at 12%

In my opinion the best option for people who are very overweight would be tirzepatide. It leans heavily into the appetite suppression. But once you're below about 25% body fat reta is a better option in my opinion. It really just depends on how you feel and what your results are.

The other option is like SLU, cardarine, BAM, and some of the other oral ones. These won't be as effective and work through different mechanisms. Much less testing than the GLP.

Of course talk to your doc blah blah blah
