If you’ve ever traveled outside America there’s a good chance you’ve experienced this phenomenon. Its 1PM, you’re hungry or looking for something to do. Too bad. Everything is closed for siesta time.
This is a common habit for people in Southern Europe. Shortly after lunch they take an hour of two off to rest. They have been doing this for hundreds of years. Does that mean it’s a good thing?
Probably.
Afternoon naps aren’t for everyone. Some people need to get back to work immediately, can’t fall asleep, don’t like wasting time, whatever the cause. For those who enjoy a good nap, I have good news.
Napping in the early afternoon is not a bad thing. There seems to be valid reasons for napping at that time.
